Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA), Prayagraj is a centrally funded technical institute governed by the act of parliament of India, IIIT Act 2014. It was established by the government of India as an 'Institute of National Importance' in the year 1999 with the aim of accelerating the highly skilled manpower generation through teaching and research in the field of Information Technology and allied areas. Within a short span of 20+ years the institute has reached to first few top notch technical institutes of India by imparting highest level of knowledge, research and development skills through the BTech, MTech, MBA and PhD programs.
