Medical imaging is a multi-disciplinary research field. We have observed tremendous progress in medical imaging as technology continues to advance at a rapid rate. This has even got huge momentum due to crosstalk among various research fields like biotechnology, nanotechnology, biomedical, electronics, instrumentation, computer science and information technology making biomedical imaging as one of the most happening research fields. New research outcomes are emerging out every day from international and national laboratories which may offer better preventative solutions. There are several research groups in India who are very active in this field- solving many brainstorming problems as well as addressing various socially relevant clinical issues. The aim of this workshop is to bring young researchers from various institutes under a common platform where they will be able to present their work as well as get an opportunity to listen to the senior delegates of this field. They will also become aware of current research activities pursuing by leading groups and challenges in this field.
