Bioengineering is a bridge between multi-disciplinary engineering and medicine. The workshop has been designed to provide the theoretical background as well as recent developments in the field of biomedical engineering to young people's minds. The importance of engineering applications in the field of health care and medicine, cannot be overstated, against the backdrop of the unprecedented health crisis that this world is emerging from. The covid-19 pandemic has clearly identified the need for skilled manpower and solutions, particularly in screening, diagnostics, telemedicine, drug discovery, medical instrumentation etc. Our goal is to introduce the basics as well as the state-of-art research happening in this field. We want to ignite discussion about potential opportunities in this domain with an aim to inspire the new generation of engineers.
